Fry Guys:The Perfect Catch for Your Celebration

Imagine the pressure of catering for a family with generations of fish and chip business experience! That’s exactly what we faced this July when Deb booked us for a very special birthday celebration. Luckily, the Blue Pepper team was able to rise to the occasion, battering expectations and securing a repeat booking as a result.

“I wanted to organise a fish and chip van for a very special birthday celebration. My family have run fish and chip businesses across a number of generations and it’s in our DNA. I thought it would be a nice tribute to my parents but it needed to be good. It would be a hard crowd to please and expectations were high.

We were not disappointed. The event was an absolute success. The food quality was exceptional and the service was excellent – is there anybody who isn’t wowed by Matt and David?

The van itself looks luxurious and everything ran smoothly and to time. The team thinks of everything so you, the organiser, don't have to do or provide anything.

As well as fish and chips, there was a vegetarian option, and a range of sides. Peas, curry sauce and gravy were provided alongside the seasonings and all the accoutrements — plates, knives, forks and napkins — all of which are 100% sustainable.

From an organisational point of view, the Blue Pepper team is a dream to work with. They responded to my enquiry quickly and didn’t make the booking process arduous. We confirmed numbers and payment the week before the event and the confirmation was sent promptly.

As a result, I’m making this event an annual affair and look forward to working with Blue Pepper again.”
